How to Pack and Travel With Essential Oils

You've booked your trip, and bought your Magic Force Field oil repellent or your moisturizing beard oil. You're ready to enjoy the outdoors. I have traveled across the USA, Europe and Africa with my oils. Here are some tips for packing and traveling with TEBA essential oil products.
Essential oils have become increasingly popular in recent years due to their many benefits, including their ability to help ease stress, promote relaxation, support overall health and wellness, or in the case of Magic Force Field, repel mosquitoes. Therefore, if you're planning on traveling with essential oils, it's important to take certain safety precautions to ensure that you and those around you stay safe.

When it comes to traveling with essential oils, there are two main modes of transportation to consider: land and air. Here are some best safety practices for each:

Traveling via Land:

  • Store your essential oils in a sturdy and well-cushioned carrying case to prevent breakage. Place case inside a resealable plastic bag to contain any potential leakage. If you don't have a carrying case, just wrap them in foam or an old cloth and place them in their own resealable plastic bag separate from other items. This way if they leak they won't spill on other things.
  • Keep essential oils out of direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, which can cause them to degrade or become less effective.
  • Avoid leaving essential oils in a hot car or on a hot surface for prolonged periods of time.
  • If you are traveling with children or pets, keep your essential oils out of reach and stored safely.
  • Be mindful of any potential allergies or sensitivities of those around you, and avoid using or diffusing oils in shared spaces without first consulting others.

Traveling via Air:

  • Follow TSA guidelines for carrying liquids, including essential oils. Essential oils should be placed in a clear, plastic bag.  Each container should hold no more than 3.4 ounces or 100 milliliters. Teba Magic Force Field bottles do fall within TSA size guidelines.
  • Be sure to label your essential oils with their common names and intended use to avoid any confusion or misunderstandings with TSA agents.
  • Keep essential oils in your carry-on luggage, rather than your checked baggage, to prevent breakage and loss.
  • Remember that essential oils are highly flammable, so keep them away from heat sources and open flames

Overall, traveling with essential oils can enhance your travel experience, but it's important to take safety precautions to ensure that you and those around you stay safe and healthy. By following these best safety practices, you can enjoy the benefits of your essential oils while on the go.
